Michael D. Jones moved from a poverty stricken city south of Atlanta, GA. to Columbus, Ohio in the 1980’s to continue his education in the computer-engineering field. From his experience he was fueled with the dream of becoming his own boss by creating a garment and signage company.

Jones ran the newly developed business while still pursuing a higher education, where he later received his bachelor’s degree in Business administration. A few years later he was laid off from a fortune 500 company and was forced to use his 401k retirement to open his store front in New Albany, Ohio.

Today Jones Wear is continuing to grow and expand across Ohio as well as many other states.
